Talks and workshops

We can deliver hands-on workshops and talks on a variety of topics. We have worked in schools, care homes, community centres and at festivals. Workshop contents can include:

• Why The Crop Club exists (e.g. food waste/food security/seed shortages/wellbeing benefits/modern agriculture/loss of biodiversity)

• Social Enterprises and similar business models

• Sustainable materials and food-based material examples (e.g. pineapple leather, mushroom foam and orange peel wood)

• Importance of rainbow diet and science behind food colours

• Decorating paper pots, making soil and sowing edible flowers or herbs

• Collaging terracotta pots and sowing edible flowers, herbs or vegetables.
